Boat Review - Sea Chaser 30 HFC CC

The popular Hybrid Fish and Cruise series from Sea Chaser has been newly expanded to include a 30 foot Bluewater center console edition, the 30 HFC CC. Offering a step-up alternative in class from the 27 HFC, this new larger version is heavy on quality standard features and additional luxury options. The 20-degree deadrise Quick High Lift performance step hull's ride combines equal parts softness and stability. The value of achieving the correct balance of comfort and fishability is not lost on the design of this model.

Using the forward deck to offer a relaxing space for down time cruising, Sea Chaser added a wraparound U-shaped lounge seating area with a removable table and comfortable diamond pleated upholstery while simultaneously creating a 400-quart storage space beneath it. At each end of the forward seating to port and starboard lies a separate cabinet console with tackle storage drawers. Removable cushions make the area forward more conducive to angling and a 200-quart insulated fishbox with a macerator pump out is located beneath the forward deck for your catch. A windlass anchor system with a stainless steel anchor chock and roller is included as standard equipment. A powder coated low profile bow rail, LED rub rail navigation lights, (6) illuminated stainless cup holders, and (16) stainless gunwale mounted rod holders are also standard.

The console on the 30 HFC offers a fold-away bench seat and side entry access to the interior space featuring an electric flushing head along with dry storage and helm system access. The powder coated T-top with LED lighting features a fiberglass molded electronics box and Infinity Bluetooth audio system with (8) speakers in total, all standard. Power Assist hydraulic steering and a stainless power grip steering wheel with tilt helm are also included. The leaning post/tackle center built in 40-gallon LED lit live well includes a Max-Air recirculating system, tackle trays and leader spools, (4) rod holders and adjustable helm seats with arm rests.

In the cockpit, a pair of fold-away bench seats are located across the transom along with a second 30-gallon live well. Additional tackle storage is located aft in a starboard cabinet. To port, a side entry door offers easy water level dockside access along with diver access and an easy solution for landing a large gamefish. A high pressure washdown system with retractable hose reel and fresh water washdown with pull up shower wand are additional standard cockpit convenience items. LED illuminated storage compartments with friction hinged hatches, all stainless hardware, through-hull drains and a telescopic fold up boarding ladder each are standard. The abundance of included features built into the 30 HFC CC are sure to appeal to the boating family ready to combine hardcore water sports and relaxing leisure activities together aboard a single stylish package.
